Same but Different

WOW! I love that you can use the same materials and come up with two different cards. Both of these cards were made with the same color card stock, same ink, same stamp set and using the watercolor technique but yet they are so different.
This one is using the Aqua Painter (103954) straight from the ink pad to the paper.

This card uses painters tape across the ink pads and then layered on the watercolor paper. Peeled off and then Aqua Painter to blend in the colors.

I have had this set for a while now and have only used it once. I am trying to go through all of my stamp sets and try to use them more often. (that will take a while )
This one stamp set can be used for three different card types. Thank you, Thinking of You, and Birthday.

I love that the intensity of the colors are different in each card. Using the painters tape leaves such a rich color that is then slightly blended.
Water coloring is going to be one of the classes that I will be teaching. If you are interested in learning more about this technique contact me.

Items used for these two cards:
Stamp Set: Wetlands (clear- 126697)
Card Stock: Coastal Cabana, Baked Brown Sugar, Watercolor paper
Ink: Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, Soft Sky, Bermuda Bay, Early Espresso, Stazon Black, VersaMark Smoky Slate marker, Sahara Sand marker
Other: Blue painters tape, Clear embossing powder, Aqua Painter brush.
