Shhh... It's a Secret

I have a secret and I want to share it with you. :-)   A Secret Garden that is. I must also admit that I have had this little beauty sitting on my shelf in my office for some time now. In fact I had to put the stamps together when I used this baby. Really sad I know. I have a bad habit with ordering stamp sets that I can not live with out and then when they do come in, they just get tossed aside and sit for months without any love. No more.. I have shown the love. I needed some thank you cards and I pulled this one out and dusted it off and I found it's partner the framelits. Well I really needed to use this set. Not only had I neglected the stamp set but also the die cuts as well. How Dare I? I gave both of them some love.
I really loved the way this card turned out. I am going to use this design in my April Thank You card class that I am planning. The colors I used scream out Spring and I need that right now as Florida can not make up it's mind if it is Spring time or still Winter. The base is Natural White as I am loving this for a base for my cards. I also used the Fancy Fan embossing folder to give it some texture.

This card will be one of the 4 that you can make in my Thank You card class in April. Check my calendar for the date and time. The class will be 20.00 and you will make 8 cards. 2 each of 4 designs.

A Sticky BOO BOO

Have you ever been stamping along in a groove and then make a huge boo boo by putting adhesive on the wrong side of your paper? Well that was me today. I was in my stamping zone working on cards for a swap that I am doing. I had all of my DSP paper cut and I had just enough for the cards that I was doing, so there was no room for mistakes as far as I was concerned. I was snail happy and running strips of adhesive on the paper and realized that for one of the pieces I placed the adhesive on the wrong side. I was almost in panic mode when I realized that I had this little magic piece of rubber. I just put adhesive on the right side of the DSP and attached it to the base of the card. YES there was adhesive on the right side and then I rubbed the Adhesive remover across it like an eraser and it removed the snail adhesive. No rips, no smudges and no stickiness. I am one happy stamper about right now.

This is a must have for all- as you never know when you will make that adhesive BOO BOO like I did. You can order yours today at my online shop. Click the shopping cart on the side and my store will open up. Click Adhesives on the left side and you will see all of our adhesive products and this magic little square.
