It is back to school for the kids after a wonderful almost 3 week vacation. I almost wish that they did not have to go back but that thought only last until they start arguing with each other. ;-)
With the kids back to class, I thought it would be a great time for me to start having classes of my own. Stamping classes that is. As part of my getting more into my business I have decided to have classes about once a month or even twice a month if enough people are interested. Each class we will focus on a certain stamping technique, stamp set, or tool.
If you are interested in joining a class, contact me today for more details. I am in the process now of planning out the first class so more information will be coming. Cost of each class will be determined on the projects that we will be making, but they will stay between 10.00 and 20.00.
Why oh why is it so hard for me to keep my blog going? I ask that question all the time. I think I have looked at this as a hobby and when I think about it, I sit down and write a few things here and there. Well, with the New Year starting - I am going to start looking at it differently. I need to start looking at this blog and my stamping as a business not just a hobby that I do every once in a while. I think getting up every morning with my coffee in hand and sitting here in front of the computer with my blog open and not face book will be a good way to start. I am up so early in the mornings, I might as well make it productive. They say that it takes a person about 21 days to form a habit. If I can do this for 21 days straight, then a good business habit will be formed.
So, here will be my goal: to work on my blog every morning for about an hour. Uploading pics that I have taken, getting them ready to post, working on upcoming projects and events. I do not have to send it to post every day, I think a few times a week will be great. I can set it to automatically post on certain days. So to start with, I will set it up to post on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. Small goals to start with I think will be easier to start that good habit. So here is to 2014 and getting this stampin party going and keeping it going.
