Grandma's 90th Birthday Cake

So, I wanted to share with you one of my cakes that I have done. This one was for my husband's grandmother's 90th Birthday last year. We threw her a party after all 90 is something to celebrate. This is a 3 tier 2 layers on each tier yellow cake. Butter-cream basket weave design on the sides. The top layer has a cornelli lace design. I think I made about 50 roses for this cake. My hand was sore after that. There are about 40 on the cake. Grandma loved the cake. This size cake will feed at least 50 people with very generous size cuts. We did have cake left over but who ever complains about that.

I will post more as I get the pictures on my computer organized.

New Blog Style

Hello all,
I am back and I have changed my blog style. I have decided to add my two art passions into one. This blog now will feature my baking creations as well as my paper creations. Baking and stamping go hand in hand right. Say you are throwing a party and you will need ... invitations(I can help you there), party favors (I can help you there), thank you cards to send out later that match the invitations ( I can help you there). Then of course you will need something yummy to eat, well guess what I can even help you there too with either a custom cake, cupcakes, or cookies. I will be creating a place on here so you can see all the yummy creations that I have done along with the non edible ones (paper) creations as well.
I do hope that you all enjoy my new blog style. I am hoping that combing both into one, it will help me blog more and hopefully become busy in the creating business.

Thanks again and until next time.
